How to hide your email address:
* read the 3 steps before clicking the link *

1. Go here:  http://groups.msn.com/Glitterylovers/_emailsettings.msnw

2.  Near the top, you'll see your email address... simply un-check the box under it
so it's BLANK.....example:

before:    [x]  Allow other group members to see my e-mail address
( click on the "x" )
after:    [  ]  Allow other group members to see my e-mail address

3. Don't forget to click "save changes" at the bottom ... a common  oversight.

Hiding your address is important because...
It's easy for hackers (called "crackers") to use your addy & gain access to any
MSN group, pose as you, and do anything you can do. They can post items in violation of the COC (MSN Code of Conduct) copyright protected, adult, etc, and get a group closed down. We're G-rated, so we have to be extra careful. If someone complains to MSN (could be the hacker having twisted fun) MSN quickly investigates the exact treads/message numbers reported.  With violations, they may close the group,....no warning/explanation, and there's no getting it back. I've known of several groups that were closed for violations without notice, and the owners had no clue they had bad stuff on their site. Aside from hazard to the group, they can also cause you trouble with your identity.
Thank You, The Management
