John Lennon's Voice EVP? -

Submitted by Frank to Paranormal About.com

I have a recorded voice that sounds like John Lennon. I sing many voice styles, from The Beatles to Sinatra-type music. I was practicing with a song from "The Double Fantasy Album" by John Lennon; this was approximately right after John Lennon was killed. (I had received the album from my sister for Christmas in 1980.) I had a Radio Shack mini cassette recorder, which I had bought in 1975. I had a small phonograph, on which I was playing the album and practicing the song "Just Like starting Over Again" singing with the song and taping it on the recorder. Just as the song ended and between that song and the song "Woman," Lennon's voice comes on the tape and says very clearly: "Do you really want to join it?" It certainly sounded like John Lennon to me.

"Please help me" EVP -

Submitted by Kaleb Smith to Paranormal About.com

Using a unique process of recording a computer's output, I came to record distinct human voices, speaking English, in an area of the house active with spiritual activity and speech. I have contacted an audio expert from Michigan State University, Dr. Gary Reid, who only explanation is a possible read-error in the computer's hard drive. I'm not sure if it is common, but this recording was made without a microphone... the voice came from the computer itself and was recorded before output to the speakers using the "wave mapper" audio monitor. I spoke with a spiritual expert from MSU who said that calls for help are the most common message heard from spiritual entities.

EVP: "Yes, I Can Hear" -

Subitted by Chris, to Paranormal About.com.

About three days ago, I read an article in the newspaper on the subject of electronic voice phenomenon (EVP). I thought I’d give it ago. The first two days there was nothing at all, until today when my cousin came over, we both tried using the computer and just started asking some questions with a radio in the background for the static noise. We asked if there was anybody there that would like to speak and if they could hear us. We got a response upon playback with a voice saying, "Yes I can hear." I’ve not had very much experience in this kind of field and would like to hear yours and others opinions on this.
