The Philadelphia Experiment

During the second world war there was a top secret programme taking place called " The Philadelphia Experiment " which was to render battleships invisible to enermy radar enabling Allies battleships to have a distinct advantage over the enermy forces. However the Manhattan project heated up and the project was discontinued, after the war had finished and most scientists were ordered to report back to Los Almos. Although some of those scientists never made it.
They were supposedly sent to Roswell, New Mexico some nine months after the so called crash of a Ufo in 1947.
From a Philadelphia Naval yard, the USS Algers did more than hide from radar screens, it disappeared altogether from the Naval yard only to reappear minutes later 300 miles away in Norfolk, Virginia. Some say this experiment was supposed to of taken place in Philadelphia in 1943, when the Navy was testing some new device whose purpose was to surround the ship with a powerful magnetic field to hide it from radar.
According to one man who allegedly stumbled upon information about the certain mystery was Ufologist Morris K Jessup, according to him "a hazy green light began to surround the vessel and it became blurred then vanished in Philadelphia to reappear as mentioned in Norfolk, Virginia". Several members of the crew died trying to escape over board as they were scared as to what was happening, others went insane, according to Jessup, when he began to investigate this story the Navy asked him if he would work on a similar project. He declined.
In 1959 he was found dead in his car suffocated by his own car exhaust fumes. He was silenced before he could publicize his discoveries about the experiments.
Was the Philadelphia Experiment supposed to be an attempt to create some kind of a magnetic vortex and in effect involving a ship in a space time warp that transports it hundreds of miles away ?.
If it is all real, im betting the military never stopped their experiments, that probably started 50 years ago.
